Good News For IPhone Users

The AIM application is going to release an update in September. Finally all of the bugs will be fixed. They are going to add notifications and much more. This is certainly good news seeing as the current application is quite useless.

Novak's Initial Report

Robert Novak's initial report about a McCain VP pick coming this week is untrue. Novak believes the source hyped the 'news' in order to keep McCain in the spotlight.

McCain's VP Pick

Bill Kristol sees Mitt Romney as a good choice, however, he thinks Tom Ridge will be the VP pick. Kristol seemed very comfortable with the prospect of Ridge as VP. To be honest, I never considered Ridge for the position.

Furthermore, Kristol disagrees with Robert Novak's assessment of a VP pick comng this week. He went on to say that the VP choice is likely to come in the next few weeks.

I have a feeling it will be Romney.

Something I Did Not Know

So I've been spending my time watching old Macworld videos. I went back to 2007 when the first iPhone was released. Apparently, Yahoo Mail provides free IMAP/Push e-mail for iPhone users. Months and months ago I paid the fee for this service; it was the upgraded mail service.

Well, now I find out I shouldn't even be paying for it since I am using the iPhone. All of this time I thought I was using IMAP because of the service I pay for! In reality, it is free.

The domestic comedy-drama starring Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria begins its fifth season this fall.

"I love working with these gals, but the idea of letting anyone else take the show from me kind of makes me sad and sick to my stomach," Cherry said. "We're going to get out while people still like us."...READ ON
